..::Product Review::.. Orblue Professional Pastry Blender

My Review of the Orblue Professional Pastry Blender

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"The professional dough blender is one of the heavy duty kitchen gadgets made from stainless steel construction that will not break, bend or rust. A hand blender that was meticulously designed to serve you for years and decades to come.
This pastry blender with blades quickly cut butter or margarine into dry ingredients such as flour or sugar, combining wet and dry ingredients seamlessly so you can make your favorite pie crust or cookie like a boss.
The black soft-grip handle of the pastry cutter absorbs pressure and won't spin or come loose in your hand. Hold your pastry maker and note the thickness of the handle and how comfortably your fingers wrap around it.
If you've ever had pastry blenders before you probably owned one with flexible wires like on a dough whisk that can take up to twice the time to do the same thing with the Professional Dough Blender. Haven't you put up with enough inconvenience?"

Review…

I was sent the stainless steel professional pastry blender from Orblue to review.

This pastry blender costs $10.87.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of the Orblue Professional Pastry Blender

This pastry blender arrived in great condition.  There were no dents, defects, nor issues during shipment.  The package included the pastry blender and a card linking me to the bonus ebook.  The pack measures 4.5" x 5.0" x 2.0" at its widest points.  This box opens with a locking flip top.  It is primarily white, and it has black and gray accents.

The front and the back of the box are identical.  It labels the product and material.  The top is easy to open.

The right side of the box provides three features of this pastry blender.  The left side of the box is where you'll find the cautionary statements, UPC, and manufacturing information.

Directly out of the package, the pastry blender is wrapped inside of a plastic bag.

The handle is black and durable.  The brand name Orblue is engraved in a metal oval.

The actual 'blending' part has four stainless steel blades.

My Personal Experience with the Orblue Professional Pastry Blender

I've always wanted a pastry blender, but for some reason, I never got one.  Since this is my first one, I'm so happy that it's such a good one!

I decided to make mini pies.  For this recipe, I had to cut the butter into the dry ingredients.

In only a matter of a few minutes, everything was the perfect consistency!

Pros of the Orblue Professional Pastry Blender
  • High quality and durable.
  • Stainless steel-- easy to care for.
  • Really sharp-- cuts cold butter with ease.
Cons of the Orblue Professional Pastry Blender
        • I haven't found any cons of this pastry blender.
              Summary

I'm really enjoying this pastry blender.  It's not something that I use every day, but whenever I'm making something like this, it's my go-to!
