..::Book Review::.. Bash and Lucy Fetch Jealousy by Lisa & Michael Cohn

My Review of Bash and Lucy Fetch Jealousy by Lisa & Michael Cohn

Overview

"Bash's soccer team is about to go to the championships, thanks to his dog, Lucy.  She helps coach the team by kissing the players and doing tricks for them.  But Bash sometimes has a hard time sharing Lucy.  He is overcome with jealousy when his dog enchants a soccer team of special-needs kids.  Can Bash learn to share his tail-wagging pal with kids who say they need her?"

My Personal Review

I love this book.  Not only is it easy for my 6-year old to read, but he can actually understand the morals.

The Bash & Lucy books are created by a 6-year old working with his mother as a team.  These books are written for kids ages 4-9.  I buy a lot of books for my son, and this is definitely one of my favorite.

I also like that there are a lot of pages.  Some children's books are so short that it disappoints me.  Not this one!  This one has 37 pages of material.  As my son loves to read, and this definitely expands his understanding and compassion for others.

The story is well written, and I feel that it is important to show children that problems like this do exist, and there are ways to overcome them.
