Review…

I was sent a 1.0 fl oz bottle of the Anti-Aging Moisturizer with Matrixyl and a 0.5 fl oz bottle of the Organic Eye Serum from Adeline to review.

Each individual bottle costs $35.25.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of Adeline Skincare

I'm happy to say that these bottles arrived in perfect condition.  There were no dents, damages, nor leaks during shipment.  Both of the bottles are clear so you can see through to the actual product.  The labels feature black and blue accent colors.  The bottles also features chrome and gray decor.  The moisturizer bottle stands 4.75" tall and 1.25" wide at its base.  The eye serum stands almost 4.5" tall, and is 1.0" wide at its base.  Both products use a pump dispenser as its method of application.

Beginning with the anti-aging moisturizer, the front of the bottle labels the product and brand, and it also states that it is formulated for all skin types.  The bottom of the bottle is where you will find the lot number and expiration date.

The right side of the bottle specifies the product's suggested use, caution statements, and manufacturer information.  The left side of the label features its ingredients.  This moisturizer was made in the USA.

The eye serum front label looks exactly the same as the moisturizer, except that the main ingredients are different.  The bottom also labels a lot number and expiration date.

The right side of this bottle lists the ingredients and the manufacturer information.  This eye serum is also made in the USA.  The left side of the label outlines the suggested use as well as the caution statements.

Both products were sealed completely with a safety seal.  There was an easy-tear perforated strip on each bottle.

The pump dispensers are really nice.  They dispense the perfect amount for one use.  I have not had any issues with it clogging, but when I opened up the moisturizer, the pump had a dried, hardened piece of cream on it.

My Personal Experience with Adeline Skincare

I always like when I get to test products from the same skincare line at the same time.  It makes the results more apparent, and I can gauge kind of how the entire line works with each other.

The anti-aging moisturizer is probably my favorite of the two.  It is a whipped, white cream.  It's pretty thick, too.    The eye serum is clear, and it is quite runny.  There are a few air bubbles in the formula, but not enough to be too concerned about.

After I apply the moisturizer, I notice that it leaves behind somewhat of a residue.  It's not sticky or anything, but the cream applies thicker (even with a smaller amount).  What I did to set that, is just let it dry for longer than I usually do.  After a longer period of time, this moisturizer does great under a light foundation.  I found that if I applied a heavier, full-coverage foundation that it kind of let the makeup slip during the day.  It smells like a clean mint.  The serum, on-the-other-hand is super-absorbent.  It smells really clean, and you only have to apply it before bed!  Some serums you have to apply multiple times during the day, but not this one!

Pros of Adeline Skincare
  • The fragrances of both products complement each other.
  • The formula is professional, and high-grade.
  • You get a lot of product for your money.
  • These products are scientifically proven to work.
      Cons of Adeline Skincare
      • The moisturizer is thick, and it doesn't always work the best under a full-routine makeup look.  This duo is best for evening use in order to avoid this.
            Summary

I highly recommend using a system for your skincare routine.  Try to keep brands together to get the best results.  Most of the time, you will notice faster and more prominent results if you do this.  These work great together, and the fragrances complement each other.  I think the best way to use the moisturizer would be only at night to avoid it being an issue with makeup application.  This is definitely good stuff, but I recommend it for evening use.
