..::Product Review::.. Cerma with STM-3

My Review of Cerma with STM-3

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Cerma with STM-3® is a product that has been around for number of years. It has been extensively tested by the California Environmental Engineering Center where it was shown it to be safe to use in all cars, and to reduce emissions of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide. It has also been shown to reduce fuel consumption by as much as 15-20%."

Review…

I was sent a 2.0 fl oz bottle of Cerma With STM-3 from Cerma to review.

The price for this bottle is $99.95, plus shipping (shipping starts at $8.99 for me).

Packaging & Presentation of
Cerma with STM-3

The bottle of Cerma arrived in great condition.  There were no leaks or defects.  The bottle is a clouded-white with a black screw-on cap.  The label is white with black and green accents.  This 2 fl oz bottle stands 3.75" tall x 1.25" wide at its base.

This bottle is teeny, but there is a lot of information printed on it.  The front labels the product and talks a little about the money-back guarantee.

Another part of the label details more about the functionality of this product.

The last section of the label gives a quick usage overview.  It provides warning information and company contact information.  All Cerma products are environmentally safe, and do not contain any solvents or PTFE's (Teflon).

The product also came with Application Directions.  They were incredibly easy to read and to follow.

Another thing that I want to point out is that the bottle is safety-sealed.  This seal is really hard to get off, so make sure you get a pair of scissors!  It's important that this is sealed like this, because I would not want this to leak during shipment!

My Personal Experience with Cerma with STM-3

My experience with anything relating to the mechanics of a vehicle is pretty much nil, but I did replace the entire fuel line in a 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue when I was 16.  That is about as far as it has ever gone.  When I had the opportunity to review this, I was pretty excited because of this:

+ Reduces emissions up to 92%
+ Reduces friction up to 80%
+ Reduces harmonics up to 98%
+ Gains in horsepower up to 28%
+ Reduces fuel consumption up to 20%

...now, why wouldn't you want to try this!?

The first thing I did was check out the Application Directions so I can familiarize myself with how to do it.  Since I have a new vehicle with 19,000 miles on it, and it's a gasoline 4-cylinder, I was to add only half of the bottle (1.0 fl oz).

There are 2 very important factors before adding.  Your engine must be at normal operating temperature to add your dosage, and you can't be due for an oil change for at least 1,500 - 2,000 miles after adding.

If you meet these criterion, you can go ahead and start the process.  First, you can add Cerma with STM-3 to your engine oil with the engine on or off.

But, as soon as you add your dose, you have to immediately bring your engine to 1,500 - 2,000 rpm's for 2-4 minutes (I did 3 minutes to be safe).

After that, you have to let your car run for no less than 30 minutes.  I let it run for 45 minutes.

Then you are done!  Results are noticeably within 20 minutes of adding Cerma with STM-3 to your engine oil.

Pros of Cerma with STM-3
  • ONE-TIME treatment that will last for hundreds of thousands of miles.
  • Safe to use in all engines-- will not cause clogs or buildup.
  • Extensively tested and certified by the Environmental Technology Verification Program.
  • Eco-friendly.
  • Really easy to use.
Cons of Cerma with STM-3
  • If you have a newer vehicle, you still have to buy the full bottle instead of your dosage amount.  I think Cerma should consider selling this product by the ounce.
        Summary

This is a pretty exciting product.  It is good for everybody-- even the environment!  Using it is really easy, and you only have to do it one time.  The results are noticeable really fast.

Cerma has a 90-day money back guarantee on this product.
