My Review of Baby Banana Brushes

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"100% silicone teething toothbrushes for infants through 2 years old. The family owned and operated company strives to make brushing fun (and safer) with their flagship product, the Baby Banana Brush, and their brand new product the Cornelius Teething Toothbrush! Baby Banana Brushes have been wildly popular online (currently the #1 baby product on Amazon) and your readers will be excited to learn more about the inventive teethers available for their little ones"

Review...

I was sent the Baby Banana Brush from Live-Right, LLC to review.
The price for this teether is $8.95.  Shipping is all over the board because it is sold at various retailers such as:  Target, Walgreens, Amazon, Diapers.com, Drugstore.com, etc.

Packaging & Presentation of Baby Banana Brushes

The Baby Banana Brush arrived in a shell-type package.  The front is very colorful.  You can see the actual brush through the product viewing window.  The back of the package is where all of the information is since this product does not come with an included insert.  It also provide company contact information, and directions.

The actual package itself has a perforated line on the back that is intended to remove the brush.  If I had to do it all over again, I would've removed the banana brush from the front so I could read the back without tearing it all up. I guess I was just too excited to let Cici play with it!

The Baby Banana Brush is about 4" long and almost 2.5" wide (at its widest part).  The peel is yellow, the actual 'banana' part is an ivory color.  The bristles are about 1/4" long.  The back of the Baby Banana Brush is stamped with 'Baby Banana'.

Both ends of the Baby Banana Brush are textured to ensure safe, gentle gum/teeth massaging.

My Personal Experience with Baby Banana Brushes

My daughter just started getting cranky with teething (she is 7 months).  This review could not have came at a better time!

Before I gave Cici the Baby Banana Brush, I checked it out.  It was very bendable and soft.

I washed the Baby Banana Brush, and then introduced it to her while she was having a grumpy episode.

She took it, and started to check it out.

She had absolutely no idea what it was, but like most babies, she stuck it in her mouth anyway.  She loves it!

Pros of Baby Banana Brushes
  • Cute-- Unlike other teethers, this one is adorable.  It holds the baby's attention.
  • Flexible-- decreases risk of mouth injuries.
  • Made from non-allergenic silicone.
  • BPA, latex, and phthalate free.
  • You can put it in the dishwasher & freezer!
  • The little banana peels serve as grips, and my daughter just LOVES them!
Cons of Baby Banana Brushes
  • When you open the Baby Banana Brush, the package tears, and you can't read the back anymore.  It's best to open this from the front.
        Summary

If you don't own this, YOU NEED TO HAVE ONE.  I have went through numerous teething solutions, and have been having a difficult time finding one that my baby actually likes.  I think the yellow catches a baby's attention, and the bristles are nice feeling on the gums.  It's a safe, easy to maintain teether that will last a long, long time.  This would make an excellent stocking stuffer/gift for your little one!
