My Review of Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Increase your lifts & protect your wrists! These durable wrist wraps for weight lifting & Crossfit will allow you to reach new levels of strength, while preventing injury to your wrists."

Review…

I was sent a pack of 2 wrist wraps from Phantom Fit to review.
The same set is available on Amazon for $14.99.  Shipping?  Free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps

The Phantom Fit wrist wraps arrived in a small plastic ziploc bag.  Everything was neatly folded.  Unlike some products packaged in plastic, this product made sure the warning labels are clear.

Upon opening the package, I discovered the wrist wraps, a nylon storage bag for on-the-go, and a card where you can download a bonus (intense MP3 workout mix).

Next, I would like to talk about the size of the wrist wraps.  They are 12" long, and are manufactured to be a one-size-fits-all product.  I used a fork as a size reference.

My Personal Experience with Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps

I've been to the gym a bunch of times and have watched people use wrist wraps while they lift weights.  I honestly had no idea that they were such a big deal.  If I was lifting a crazy amount of weight, I would certainly want to be sure that my wrists were protected.  These wrist wraps are designed to prevent injury by  stabilizing, supporting, and  protecting the wrists.

What I thought was pretty awesome is that these have a thumb loop that will stay put.  It isn't going to rip off like some other brands.

Next, all you do is wrap it around and secure it using the strong velcro.

The velcro sticks really well, and I do not foresee any tearing, even after long-term use.

Lastly, I would like to show you the nylon storage bag.  It is a pretty good sized bag.  It closes with the standard 'drawstring with cord lock' method.  What I didn't like about it is that the bag was made kind of small, so you can't quickly put the wrist wraps in there.  You kind of have to fold them up pretty good to make them fit.

Pros of Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps
  • I really like that it is a one-size-fits-all product.  I really despise buying something over the internet when you don't know if it is going to fit.  These will.
  • The thumb loop isn't flimsy like other wrist wraps on the market.
  • They are easy to wash and store.
  • There is a lifetime warranty on this product.  Who doesn't like that!?
Cons of Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps
    • The storage bag is kind of small to fit the wraps without having to fold them several times.
      Summary

These are pretty cool.  For anybody who lifts weights, these are probably one of the better variety of wrist wraps to use.  Why risk messing up your wrists and having costly medical bills when you can simply spend $14.99 to ensure that your wrists stay stabilized and supported?  These wrist wraps were made using quality material, and they will last a very long time, even after several washes.  They also have a lifetime warranty.  The storage bag could be bigger, but that is a minuscule problem that can easily be fixed by the manufacturer.
